CO 2 heat pump works
CO 2 air source heat pump is a kind of energy-saving and efficient hot water heating equipment, which takes the energy of air in the refrigerant cycle as the heat source. This unit can be widely used in winter heating, industrial high-temperature hot water and domestic hot water preparation in cold regions, severe cold and high altitude regions of China.
The system consists of a compressor, a gas cooler, a regenerator, a throttle, an evaporator, and a liquid reservoir. The low temperature and low pressure CO 2 gas is compressed to supercritical in the compressor and then cooled in the gas cooler by the cooling medium (water or air). After leaving the gas cooler, the high pressure gas is further cooled in the regenerator. Then the CO 2 gas throttling and depressurization temperature drops, part of it is liquefied, wet steam enters the evaporator and vaporizes, and the low-pressure saturated steam from the reservoir enters the regenerator. The low-pressure side channel absorbs the supercritical fluid in the high-pressure side and absorbs heat. After becoming superheated steam, it enters the compressor to boost the temperature and repeats the cycle motion.
